Position is open for our Newark, CA office.
BSME. MSME, a plus
5+ years of technical design and engineering analysis, doing product and system design, not components
M.E. Design experience in 1 or more of the following markets:
Robotics, Consumers, Biotech or Medical Devices (concept through clinical controls)
Hands on Project Management of at least 1 full product development cycle of high volume tooled products
Working knowledge of design using Injection Molded Plastics and Sheet Metal
Working knowledge of fluid handling, mechanism design and automation
Knowledge of basic optics
Knowledge of basic chemistry
Experience with Safety Regulatory Agencies is desirable
Solid experience working with clients and suppliers
Solidworks and/or Pro/E
Hands-on performance in shop/lab work
M.E Analysis experience in:
Shock and vibration
Design for manufacturability (high/low volume)
Project and Technical Reporting
Experience with Lab-on-a-chip and/or microfluidics is desirable
Experience in process engineering (workflows) is desirable
